OnStartups Launches “Answers” for Entrepreneurs

I’m still fairly new to the onstartups.com site, a website for tech entrepreneurs, but their newly launched “Answers” product seemed apropos in light of my last post.  It’s a community Q & A site for people with questions about startups.  What makes it particularly attractive is that the site is built using the same software as one of the most successful Q&A sites for techies, stackoverflow.com.  It has a powerful and proven set of features for extracting good answers from their community.

… if, that is, the community that develops around it is sufficiently large and active, which remains to be seen.  Something to keep an eye on.

  1. Thanks for checking out OnStartups.com

I was a little worried about whether the community would aggregate around the concept myself. But, as it turns out, our first two days brought some exceptional activity and great discussions. Thousands have visited the site and there are lots of great questions/answers/comments.

I’m optimistic that this will be something of use to entrepreneurs.

@Dharmesh: Nice of you to drop by. “Answers” certainly seems to be off to a strong start – people are asking some great questions. As for the answers… well… some are good, some not so much. But I’m certainly enjoying all the swirl! I think my favorite topic so far is, “Does a startup CTO have to be a coder?”
