This month’s tech talk comes to us from the crew at WoTech, who have arranged for Elise Michaels (of Elise Michaels Media fame) to give us the 411 (or maybe it’s course #101?) on how start podcasting. The talk will be Jan 12th at the usual time and place. Details can be found on the Event Meetup.com page. (as usual, RSVPs are appreciated but not required.)
I’ll refer you to the Meetup page for the official description, but speaking personally, this is something I’m looking forward to. Matt Abrams and I took a stab at podcasting for BendTech a while back and succeeded in turning out exactly one, rather poorly produced, episode. That episode is memorable more for the mistakes we made than the actual content (thru no fault of our victim interviewee, Forrest Rodgers, btw).
So… if you have an interest in podcasting, I would definitely encourage you to come and get in on the action on this one. I’m sure Elise will have some great tips and tricks, and I suspect I won’t be the only one whose screwups you can learn from. (At least, I hope not, ’cause that’d be pretty embarrassing.)
